Role

As Finance Manager Utility you will play a central role in the leadership team of Svea Solar Utility. You will be a key player in supporting and help drive the business unit’s strong growth. Striving to establish and enforce proper structures and policies for the Utility business together with the finance department of Svea Solar Group.

You report directly to Pieter Godderis (Head of Utility), with a dotted line to Sara Heiner Asplund (Svea Solar CFO). You will have the full backing up and support from Svea Solar’s finance department including services like accounting, consolidation and treasury. As we are planning to become a large actor within the solar park assets – we are foreseeing investments of more than 3 BSEK over the next 5 years and you will be an important stakeholder with respect to investment decisions.

In detail:

• Be overall responsible for business and project controlling for Svea Solar Utility business (including both an asset company and an EPC business towards large external solar park owners)
• Coach project leaders in creating and following up on project profitability and cash flow
• Be highly involved in investment analysis and investment decisions within the Utility department
• Drive budget processes and support in securing bank financing for projects under construction
• Own the asset valuations, measuring and reporting on covenants from bank and investors
• Make regular liquidity forecastings

• Having worked as a Business Controller in an asset heavy industry
• Bachelor’s degree or higher within a relevant field
• General good knowledge of accounting principles
• Excellent skills in Excel and Power BI
• Fluent in Swedish and English
