Head of HR - Sweden
This is an interim position for 1 year and we're also open for a consultant.
No companies can exist without people. Some even might say that the People business area is the most important function in any business. If you agree, you’re probably somewhat biased (like us) but most likely share our People First approach. We are looking for an interim (1 year, preferably starting in June) Head of HR who will be key to achieving sustainable growth for Svea Solar in Sweden.
The role
As Head of HR, you will work strategically and hands-on within a broad HR spectrum. You will be a part of the Swedish management group and report to our Managing Director Johannes Boson but also be strongly supported by our Global HR function with Hanna Mannberg in front and work together with the Human Growth award-winning HR team.

- Own and drive the HR strategy and HR operations in Sweden
- Continuously improve & evaluate processes and strategies to better support local market needs.
- Staff responsibility for the local HR Team
- Indirect responsibility for the recruitment strategy. You will be supported by a TA manager who is accountable for the TA agenda and has staff responsibility for the local recruiters.
- Facilitate global processes and roll out locally.
- Take lead on HR compliance matters, including work environment & union negotiations.
Are we a match?
To succeed in this role, we believe you have previous experience in a similar role and know your way around the broad HR area by heart. As in any fast-growing company, it is also hands-on, and you shouldn’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed. Change is also constant, so you need to be flexible and great at prioritizing.
To be successful in this role we think you recognize yourself in some, or all the below:
- Previous experience from high growth companies
- Proven experience in a leading HR role
- Good knowledge about work environment and safety preferably from a highly physically demanding workplace
- Experience in leading & coaching direct reports & leaders.
- Solid HR operations experience within both blue-collar and white-collar organisations.
- Broad knowledge of the collective agreement and union negotiations.
- A leader who truly understands the importance of scalable processes and who has strong communication skills, especially when driving change.
