Svea Solar has grown roughly from 1 billion SEK in turnover in 2021 to 2 billion SEK in 2022. We will continue our growth at the same pace - doubling each year - while continuing to deliver the strategy of becoming Europe’s leading solar energy solution provider.
This pace of growth requires more efficient business control to ensure that processes across the organization are smooth.
The role
This role of Net Working Capital Business Controller is truly cross-functional: while being located in the Finance department, you will support the Supply Chain team with financial data, analytics, and actionable suggestions of how to improve the processes and business control practices, so that other departments can make smarter operational and strategic decisions.
Here are some key activities and responsibilities of the role:
- Implement and maintain inventory control policies, e.g., stock turnover ratio, product lifecycle and obsolescence.
- Conduct regular stock checks to identify valuation discrepancies and address possible issues.
- Support procurement team with data in supplier negotiations to improve service levels and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Monitor supplier performance and report analysis to the procurement team, e.g., lead time and delivery precision.
- Analyze credit limit utilization and report improvement areas to procurement.
- Develop collaboration forums between finance and procurement to ensure alignment and compliance with procurement processes.
- Define and monitor inventory and supplier-related KPIs and OKRs.
