Who we are
The group of Power Shifters within Product and Software is made up of a squad of talented wizards who are dedicated to solve problems, from facilitating our installation crews, lowering process time on supply chains, stabilising the electricity grid to providing the next-gen connected-home app to our customers. We call this team Sunbeam labs, which includes our Software Engineers, Product managers and Designers, and Engineering Managers
Although everyone has their own set of skills and tons of freedom with responsibility, it's when all their fantastic work comes together that the true magic shows, towards a common goal: Apply the best tech skills to fight against climate change and secure a sustainable future.

The Teams in Sunbeam Labs

App Team
Develops and maintains iOS and Android applications as user-facing products. The team includes BFF (Backend for Frontend) engineers to ensure efficient communication between the front-end and back-end systems.

Energy Optimazation Team
Focuses on optimising energy consumption and efficiency, integrating smart hardware, and managing customer signups for Svea Solar energy contracts. Their work enhances sustainability while distinguishing energy contract signups from app user registrations.

Virtual Powerplant Team
Specialises in building and managing virtual power plants by integrating decentralised energy resources. They work to improve grid reliability and flexibility through advanced smart solutions.

Consisting of Product Managers, Product Designers and Analyst, working closely with our software teams.
