We are now looking for a Product Manager to join our team focused on Virtual Power Plants (VPP) – one of the most innovative and fast-growing areas within the energy sector!

What is a Virtual Power Plant?

A Virtual Power Plant (VPP) connects solar panels, batteries, and EVs into one intelligent system that supports the energy grid by balancing supply and demand in real time. At Svea Solar, our VPP empowers households to take part in the energy market, optimize energy use, and drive the shift to a better future.

The Role

As our Product Manager, you will lead the development and own the roadmap for of our VPP offering. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll align stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have a direct impact on Svea Solar’s mission to accelerate the transition to renewable energy—helping to shape how households and businesses participate in the energy system of the future.

You’ll report to our Chief Product Officer, Joakim Grönvall.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and lead the strategy to maximize revenue for customers and Svea Solar by optimizing when and how our assets support grid stabilization across Nordic markets

- Identify, prioritize, and validate product opportunities aligned with team and company goals

- Define and communicate a clear product vision, translating it into an actionable roadmap

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, analytics, marketing, sales) to deliver impactful solutions

- Continuously gather insights from data, user research, and market trends to inform decisions

- Lead product discovery to deeply understand customer needs and ensure value-driven solutions

- Track and evaluate product performance using both qualitative and quantitative metrics

- Act as the voice of the customer and business within the team, ensuring alignment across stakeholders

- Drive prioritization and facilitate alignment to keep the team focused on high-impact work

We believe you..

- Are fluent in English or Swedish

- Have 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally with customer-facing digital products

- Have an strong understanding of user journeys, funnel optimization, and conversion metrics; experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks

- Have an proven ability to identify, prioritize, and deliver product improvements that drive measurable business impact

- Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a balance of data-driven decision-making and speed of execution

- Have experience working closely with cross-functional teams to bring consumer or internal-facing digital products from concept to launch
