About the role & the team
As our Fullstack Engineer in the Website team, you’ll be part of a talented and ambitious agile team. Together you’ll design and implement technical solutions for Svea Solar’s website and related areas.
You’ll work closely with a Teach lead, a frontend engineer, an analyst, and a product manager, reporting to our Engineering Manager Anna. We follow a collaboration-first approach, working three days a week from our Stockholm office.
As a Fullstack Developer, you’ll have real impact on a key part of our business—our website drives leads and sales. By building tools that increase sales, you’ll also amplify our positive impact, helping Svea Solar move closer to our mission of ridding the planet of fossil fuels—all while growing your skills in a friendly, collaborative culture.
Your key responsibilities:
Build and maintain both frontend and backend features
Develop modern, accessible, and semantically correct websites
Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
Design and implement REST APIs and integrations with our CMS written in Python.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to create functional and user-friendly solutions.
Contribute to architectural discussions and best practices, supporting long-term scalability and event-driven design.
Are we a match?
We’re looking for you who…
Value team success over personal success and thrive in a collaborative dynamic environment.
Have at least 5 years of professional experience in software development, including at least 2 years in backend.
Have strong experience with: Python, REST APIs, and event-driven design.
Are fluent in English and/or Swedish.
Bonus points if you..Are comfortable with Django or Wagtail.
TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express,
Have worked with one or several CMS and have experience of SEO
Have solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
