EMT addition - Chief of Staff
-
🎉We have some exciting news to share! 🎉 As part of our ongoing efforts to develop and improve our ways of working, we are introducing a new role within the EMT: Chief of Staff. We are proud to announce that our very own Sandra Bergquist, who has worked at Svea for almost two years as a Business Development Manager, will be stepping into this role. It's incredibly exciting to see our employees grow as we grow. Read more about Sandra and her new focus in the attached interview.
For those who do not know you, can you tell us briefly about your background?
I started my career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co, where I spent 4 years mainly focusing on strategy projects (several of them focused on the green transition, e.g., go-to-market and scaling of sustainable businesses). Back in 2022, I joined Svea as part of our Business Development team. In this role I have gotten the opportunity to work across several topics at Svea and since January this year I have been part of the German management team.

How do you like to spend your time when you are not working?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I grew up in Karlskrona (a small town in southern part of Sweden) and I love going there during summer to spend time in their beautiful archipelago. Also, I have been competing in kayaking and I have my own kayak here in Stockholm which I use as often as I can.
What excites you about your new role?
After almost 2 years with Svea, working on projects across departments and topics – it was an easy decision to accept the role as Chief of Staff. I have truly enjoyed all collaborations with Power Shifters across Svea – and I am looking forward to continuing this journey together. In addition to the great Power Shifters, I am also excited about the growth journey we are on and to rid the planet of fossil fuels.
