We're delighted to have you and your competence aboard! How come you joined the Power Shift?
Thank you! I chose to join Svea Solar for two reasons: to make the world a better place and to continue my personal growth. When I heard about this opportunity at a fast-growing company with innovation at its core, my decision was easy.
Growing together with my team in this business inspires me every day. We need to be fast-moving, challenge each other, and have fun along the way.
Can you take us down memory lane and tell us a bit about your background?
1993 was my year. I was born and raised in Skåne on a horse farm. Growing up, I competed in horse riding and waterskiing.
With a background in goal setting and high ambitions, working in sales was a natural step for me.
What's your strongest personal value, and how does it affect your leadership style?
I'm an optimistic person who sees problems as challenges. I love solving things, which is why I got interested in sales. Helping customers solve their daily challenges is satisfying and drives me to go the extra mile.
When it comes to leadership, I believe in trust and self-leadership, fostering a team that continues to grow and has the confidence to work independently.
What's your top advice to all sales leaders out there?
As cheesy as it sounds, my first tip would be to have fun with your team.
On a more serious note, I strongly believe in simple and clear communication. Ensuring that everyone is on the same wavelength makes it easier for the team to move in the same direction.
You're the leader of Team Friendship. What's special about your team?
What makes Team Friendship special is that everyone contributes in their own way. We have a strong mix of both experience and diverse backgrounds. I strongly believe this ensures everyone continues to grow, and there's always someone who will cheer for you!
You're in an elevator with an awesome sales candidate. What's your pitch to convince them to join your team?
Do you want to have fun, keep learning more about sales, and have a strong, innovative brand supporting you? Team Friendship is the team for you!
And (this might be the coolest thing I've ever heard) you have competed in water skiing at a professional level and are currently the Chairman of the South Swedish Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation. Are there any similarities between water skiing and sales?
There are many similarities between waterskiing and sales. To be great at both, you need to set high goals and work hard to reach them. One of the things I learned from competing was to pick yourself up when you fall. You're not going to win every competition, just as you won't close every lead. But the important thing is to go for the next one and learn from your mistakes.
